i just ordered a new turbo; garrett GT2252V (from vag)

it got the same compressor side as the GT2052V

i place pictures as soon as i get the gt22!

This GT2252v is from a vw T4/T5 2.5tdi.

but the smaller GT2052v on the passenger vw-2.5tdi's got 150 up to 180hp.
The T4 2.5tdi got 102hp, T5 2.5tdi 130hp...

why do got the engine with the bigger turbo less horsepower, do i need to start worry that the bigger gt22 will give less air than the gt20???

no it still makes more airflow, and they are for bigger engines with differnt purposes, the peak hp may be better on the engines listed but the hp curve and tq curve will be better on the others. It comes down to purpose. In the end the gt22V will outflow the gt20v, no need to worry.  :wink:
