Rabbit TD vs chipped A3 jetta TDI

I'll try to keep it short.
Changed the rad in a friend's A3 TDI jetta today. Went out for a comparison run after. No competition. Every gear, the rabbit pulled futher and further away. And this was from a rolling start (breaking in the kevlar disc) From a dead stop I'd have ruined him.

I figured that with the way this thing runs, the wastegate must be buggered up, feeding the engine high boost. I hooked up a temporary boost gauge, and sure enough... I was wrong! Bang on 10 psi. This car's gonna be insane in the later stages of development...

I repair, maintain and modify VW's and BMW's.
Good work done at affordable rates. Welding and fabricating, too.

What mods do you/he have to the cars?  and what kind of chip did he have?  (Good job btw...i'm not sure how my portly beast would do against an older car).
Waiting for a bigger better diesel to come along.

not sure what chip he has.
The rabbit has a stock AAZ engine, 2.5" exhaust, T2 turbo, 10 psi, mild govenor tweak.

Sounds something like what my friend Chris is doing with his car.  He's got his set up to spike to about 27psi though and I think it holds 22ish :D  It's a fun little sleeper car.

I got an AAZ with a T2 too, running at 14lbs peak at 15psi without intercooler.

Cost me alot of tires

1-2 it's slipping, on wet 1 to 4 it's splipping at WOT.

A chipped MK3 will run at best a 17.5 in the quarter........... a very easy kill with a rabbit, even if it only has 75hp  :D
