What kind of hp and tq do you think I am running?

I m sorry for posting alot of posts.. but I am a curious kid (18). I was wondering if I was around 120hp. The things i have done to my td....

89 mazda 626 intercooler
the screwdriver trick
and I am running 22 psi

I can beat 1.8l vw motor and a 1.9 tdi so hopefully around 110 just curious thanks for the help

The formula for calculating hp from ET is: hp = weight/(ET/5.825)^3

Assuming 2550 for the weight of your '86 Jetta with you in it...I get 99 hp.

That figure may be possible with the mods you list.

i've got a gtech.... :wink:

Doc, did you get the "Pro" G-Tech like Jakes? :idea:

BTW Smokey, the ET method is not highly accurate with turbo cars, especially FWD ones. If you know the MPH at the end of the 17.2 sec run you can get a more accurate hp estimate using this formula:

hp = weight * (speed/234)^3

Give that a try and let us know. Or tell me your speed and I'll do it for you. :D

by the sounds of it I've got to be in that hp range too,I definitly need to G-tech mine also :(
