glow plug question

I am going to pull my glow plugs and replace them while I've got my head off, and I have seen both slow glow and fast glow sets available-
are they slow glow from the oem(1981 caddy 1.6l d)?  If I go with fast glow, do I just need to change the plugs and relay, or is there any more to it than that?
