so anyways, today i broke out a screwdriver and took off my blow off valve. it was hard to get the adjusting screw thing out of the blow off valve, because the notch you put the screw driver into was very shallow, so i broke out the drill and put a small bit in and ran it on an angle through the slot a couple times, and that made it deep enough that i could unscrew it (has anyone else had this problem) then i removed the spring and cut a piece of dial rod to the proper length and then screwed it down tight. i now see around 16psi, i'm guessing that my wastegate is probable stuck shut, oh well.
wastegate isnt stuck, are you "limiting" the air pressure to the wastegate actuator via manual boost controller yet??
no, the motor is 100% stock acceept for a 2 1/4 exhaust coming off the cast iron pipe, but seeing as how i get 16-17psi, and i haven't touched the wastegate and i haven't put a mbc on, i'm guessing that it's stuck shut.

If you install a boost controller you'll be able to push 20psi easely, even more if your turbo is in good shape.
i could probably get 20psi if i turned my fueling up, but i'm a little afraid of doing that as i have no intercooler. i think my wastegate is stuck, but i dunno how to check really.
