100m tranny in 90mm car
« on: June 06, 2006, 10:07:56 pm »
okay, i am getting a 100m flange tranny ACN for highway driving.. I also want to install a 80% shim kit so I have to make hybrid axles, I have read about them before but can't find the information now.

anybody got links or comments (greatly appreciated) on my idea?
Thanks
Seth

What are you trying to accomplish? Why don't you just get some 100 mm CV's or a set of 100mm driveaxles?

the axles are only 10-15k miles old, is the outer cv the same size on 100m to 90m? if so I might just go out and buy new ones

If they're made for the same body type, they'll be the same size. Just the inners change.
