Hi. Just found this great forum. I've got a 97 jetta td. So far I've turned up the charge pressure and fuel and put in a 1.6 boost pin. Also have had a polished ss lake pipe on for a while. It's only 2" but it's totally open from the turbo and seems to make a difference to a stock engine. Since waking up the engine I want to put on a bigger side pipe but it'll still be polished ss. It's all grimy now but nice and shiny after a little scrubbing. Anyways, this is a great forum.
some pictures

and if this works, a video from yesterday on the hiway; full pedal at about 1200 in 5th, 16psi @ 2000, shut down at 140k, 1100F, 21psi 3800rpm. Ya, 21psi stock kkk turbo and engine; I'm a greedy bastard. It'll blow up soon I'm sure.

I don't know, it's sitting on a slight slope in that picture... rides fine, stock suspension afaik.

Well, finally got all the mods done I've been planning;
T3 turbo (rebuilt)
Added an intercooler
2.5 full ss open exhaust
2.25 full aluminum ic piping
head and main stud kits
rebuilt injectors and holy grail Superior Injection Pump!
Giles, you're a madman!
This thing goes good, just gotta fix the new found clutch slippage.
The turbo I bought off a guy through ebay had a broken wastegate valve stem and no cannister so I had to fab up a crazy linkage and use my old k03 wastegate. Turns out that because of my slipping clutch and small g60 intercooler I have to run it closed wastegate anyways. owell, the car is a blast to drive. Runs 25 psi max. Seems a little low on a 1.9 closed wg but what the hell, it doesn't spike over that ever.
Anyways here's a few pictures

Anyways, back to no-internet land for a few days.

Peace[/img]
