Mixing & Matching Parts?
« on: August 25, 2004, 02:07:23 am »
Hi First post here in this forum.
I've been reading here for a bit now and you guys rely know your stuff.
So here goes. These are the parts I have:

- Engine Block  1.9L  TD  (with all internals)  212000km
- Engine Block  1.9L  TD  (needs a rebuilt)  395000km
- Engine Block  1.6L  TD  (with all internals)  380000km
- Cylinder Head  1.9L  TD  (with all internals)   115000km
- Cylinder Head  1.9L  TD  (with all internals)   212000km
- Cylinder Head  1.6L  TD  (with all internals)  380000km
- Cylinder Head  1.6L  TD  (with all internals) (new)  0kn
- Fuel Pump  1.9L  TD  (with injectors)  130000km
- Fuel Pump  1.6L  TD (with injectors)   380000km
- Turbo  1.6L  diesel  Garret  380000km
- Turbo  1.6L  diesel  KKK  (needs a rebuilt)
- Turbo  1.8L  gas  KKK  (from Passat 1.8t)  63000km
- Turbo  1.9L  diesel  KKK  (needs a rebuild)  395000km
- Turbo  2.3L  gas  KKK  (from Audi 5000)
- Intercooler  (from Audi 5000)
- Intercooler  (from Passat 1.8t)

I need to build 2 complete engine with all these parts.
These engine will be seeing mostly highway driving at, and above 120kph
Be willing to sacrifice some low end torque for higher RPM horse-power.
What do you guys think are my best part mixing options to accomplish this?
Any opinions would be appreciated.
