I would like to buy a VW diesel somewhere relatively near southeastern Iowa, zip code 52501, for an economical "beater".
Bottom line = very cheap because my Fiero has made me poor :wink: Other than that, I'm interested in just about anything - the closer to me, the better. Of course newer and safer is better. 4 speed manual would be nice, 5 speed would be better. Tolerance for biodiesel from WVO would be a nice plus as well.
My dad has an '81 Rabbit Diesel for biodiesel experimenting, and I'd even go for something like that. Post here, PM, or email if you have anything relatively reliable. Thanks! -Jason
