That's a strange result.  Other threads have suggested that GTD injectors actually reduce the smoke, even if they don't do much to improve power.

You may need to retard your timing slightly, to account for the greater volume of fuel being injected in the same "time window" as your old injectors.

Also, you may need to crank down the main fuel screw, too, if you've turned it up already.

There is actually a fair amount of contradictory information on this forum about the GTD injectors.  I haven't seen much in the way of objective measurement of the GTD-injector-swap results, just a lot of "butt dyno" comments.  I'm still on the fence, but would love to be convinced.

p.s. Pats nopirku savu pirmo Vento ar AAZ dizeli. Ja gribi, varu nofotografet lai vari salidzinat turbo. Jau esmu iesacis speleties ar 'modding', bet pa priekšu ar riteniem, riepam, atsperem, u.t.t. Novelu labu laimi ar interkuleri... man jau bijis prata kopš nopirku savejo. Vai nevareji atrast G60 interkuleri? Domaju, ka deret labak...
