Many gauge manufacturers sell tee kits to put senders for both the oil temperature and pressure on top of the filter mount. Mine has the pressure on the end of the head and the temperature on the oil filter mount. Are there advantages to each configuration?
Hmmm, I just found out the reason. The small light sender has lots of room on the end of the head, but the large sender for the gauge/light cannot be installed on the end of the head because the turbo oil feedline is in the way. I guess the gauge will have to wait till I install the G60 cover and stainless oil feedline which I will fabricate to clear the sender.
is it possible to use an elbow,or a tee,to clear the obstruction??

I suppose I could, but the sender isn't standard pipe thread, so it would be a big hassle. I'm going to replace the oil line anyway, with a hose or a stainless hard line, so I can reroute then. Has anyone on here ever rerouted the turbo feedline???
How about some pics .
i saw someone use brake line for turbo feed
