Intermitten Engine Misfire....??
« on: April 25, 2006, 12:02:27 am »
The engine on my 81 Diesel Rabbit has a noticeable miss just above idle.

The miss is noticeable when the RPMs are held between 1000-1500 RPMs or so. (No Tach...just by sound/experience).

The engine also smokes while the throttle is held open and will darken when the throttle is "blipped". It does not appear to smoke at idle.

Bad Fuel ?? Bad injectors ??  What ??
