am in the middle of refreshing a 1.6td and everything on the head looks good. I am wondering if there is a need to replace exhaust valves as the Bentley suggests it. If I get new valves is it a must to have the seats cut? Can you just buy new exhaust valves and hand lap? I have searched and seen some info, but nothing definitive. Thanks in advance for your advice.
