WTB: Vanagon five-speed transaxle code AAP

AAP is my first choice in a vanagon transaxle.  I'll consider other 5-spd codes.  Thanks

If you're in North America, you should consider the DX from an '83 diesel along with an R+P change to the 4.14.  Bear in mind the shifter/linkage is different as well.  Weddle also offers a 5-speed conversion for the later WBX 091/1 4-speeds (often called 094 4-speeds).

Thank you for the suggestion, Andrew.  When I repost, as I'm not getting any hits on this or the tdiclub forum, I'll list some other trans codes that are also acceptable.  My present wbx trans is a 091/1 ABD, so it would be a candidate for the 5-spd swap.  Worth a looksee at Weddle.  Thanks again.
