I have an injection pump ('82 non-turbo) and a reseal kit I'd like to send to someone to reseal for me (not a complete rebuild, no calibration, just the seals). Please reply here or PM me or email me at
[email protected] if you're interested.
Thanks.
We should do this like that old TV show. I can name that tune in 10 notes, 8 notes, 4 notes. So what is going to really make the difference on the total cost isn't so much the price any of us extracts for our services but the distance you need to send the pump. I found that weight times miles thing really ups the cost. I can't remember what it cost me to send a pump to my son about a year ago but it only needed to travel 600 miles. I think it was close to 26.00 dollars.
A USPS Large Flat Rate box is 12"x12"x5.5", I think a pump will fit inside? About $17 to ship, small price to pay (twice, of course) for a running car. I expect to pay a lot more than $34 for the labor.
