...BTW your Bieber avatar is awesome.-Malone
The HX30W has a 6cm turbine housing and a turbine choke flow close to the HE221W-7cm. Both will not work on a 1.6/1.9TD unless crazy lag and smoking like a freight train with excessive EGT is the goal for the build. Even with good flowing big-valve heads, we have tried...HE221W-5cm that is mentioned in this thread is an early version of what is now the HE200WG-5cm, indeed it did 204whp on a 1.6TD. It is the perfect fast spooling - high HP compromise turbo for these engines! With room to grow if you add on a bigger turbo at a later stage for a compound setup like I am running There is a new version of the HE200WG-5cm available now with a T3 flange and wastegate actuator mounted to the turbine housing. Re-clocking the turbo is now a no brainer as you don't have to make a new bracket for the wastegate actuator. T3 manifolds are also easier to get hold of. Win-win.
Yup, that's mine! Ahah Alcaid, you mentionned it has a T3 flange!
