ISO Inj Pump MK2

Hello, I am wondering if anyone might have an injection pump that I can swap onto my ecodiesel that would give me more fuel running through the car and possibly a different turbo if the price is right. (mk2 TD pump or better?)

I also have a MK4 ALH that I am parting out. Currently have the injectors off (recently serviced) as well as the injection pump. Other things are still on the car and can be pulled off if requested. Turbo on it is brand new has less than a mile driven on it, the turbo was swapped on and before it got to the end of the street the motor blew. Not sure how or from what, still need to do more pulling apart on the motor to find out.

Let me know what you have/want!  :)

Most likely they did not clean the oil out of the IC so it ran away and blew up when it ran out of oil. Most likely a rod exited the block.

Surprisingly there is nothing on the outside of the motor anywhere that shows that there is a hole in it. Externally at least. I am thinking something internal went terrible wrong. Although, there is oil through the intercooler piping as well as the exhaust. Which of course scares me because that turbo was brand new and I don't want it to be messed up because oil got somewhere it shouldn't have.

Oil through the exhaust piping almost always means the turbo is toast. Otherwise it would have been burned as fuel before making it that far.

The oil was from the bad turbo that got replaced. The new one blew up the motor because it could spit the residual oil out of the intercooler into the intake. The new turbo is likely just fine unless it got FODed. Pull the pan. You will get an education. Don't be so sure the motor is not ventilated. When I pulled the turbo off this 2003 NB that is my latest project, I could look in and see the crank. No holes were visible before that. I will post pictures when I get it out.

How exactly would I know if the turbo is toast or not? I did get the turbo pulled off last night and everything looks fine. No shaft play or anything. Literally just looks brand new.

If it was FODed a Foreign Object would have gone through the exhaust side (in this case) and Damaged the turbo.
