Well I got one from benny, now I need the matching water pump pulley  ::) anyone got one handy or should I just order one of the $4 ones from prothe? For $4 I wouldnt normally care to try it out but the $25 shipping makes it a hard sale especially if it might come crooked or misaligned.

Part number I believe is  VW 027 121 031A

Well, you can be sure Prothe is crooked and misaligned! Don't buy anything from him. He will ship you the wrong part and won't even refund the $4 much less the exorbitant shipping.

I found one at a local wrecker. I've bought many things from his store in the past, its not as bad as everyone makes it out to sound. Yes his chinese parts are garbage but if you buy name brand parts they are the same as anywhere else but much cheaper. He carries a lot of victor reinz and other oem quality parts.  In this case the $4 pulley is probably not the best idea. I've never had any issues with him sending me the wrong parts or anything other then what I ordered and for the most part I've been very satisfied.
