Viton IP seals?
« on: September 26, 2016, 11:47:17 am »
I guess I will be looking into rebuilding my spare pump ( TD pump can be used on an IDI?).
I also have a little leak on the top of my currently installed pump at the throttle shaft. I have been running too much dinodiesel.
Where can I get a seal kit/rebuild kit with biodiesel in mind?
Also I remember a guy named Vince waldron or something of the sorts that had websites for IP rebuilding etc. I cannot find them now. Anyone got a link?

I figured this would be a simple question to answer. I cannot find any Viton IP seals. Also the only reseal kit I find that looks close to the Bosch dgk-126 is listed as being for a TD. Is the gasket set different for my N/A?

The authentic Bosch seal kits have been 100% biediesel compatible since the 90's.

The DGK-126 has the cold start o-ring but is missing the aneroid feeler pin o-ring which is part # 1-460-210347.  The DGK-121 has the feeler pin o-ring but is missing the cold start o-ring.  Neither kit comes with the main shaft seal which is part # 1-460-283-312.

I have gotten quite a few seal kits and individual Bosch seals/o-rings from the ebay seller angelofishes.  He has always given me very good prices and very good customer service.

I should have known about the biodiesel compatibility since I am German and know they run a high percentage of biodiesel there.... Thanks for the info.
