1Z TDI swap 85 jetta (jenny)

hi dudes! im busten out a swap project and im looking for a little help, been searching the forums and learning alot but there are some problems ive run into that have turned into a bit of a hurdle. i have the motor and trans sitting on the MK2 subframe on the stock mounts (which im cool with) but the 1Z has a serpentine belt and a v belt with the v belt on the outside running the water pump and power steering pump. my car does not have power steering, but it does need a water pump. so one of the problems im having is the pulley on the crank shaft rubs the wrinkle zone and i cant get the motor to move over any further to the drivers side
has anyone been here that could give me some advise?

Do you have AC? If not there's a belt configuration that uses the serpentine to drive the water pump and alternator. No need for a v-belt at all if you go that way.
