VW Jetta/Vento 1.9TD

Hi folks, I recent here in VWDiesel, and I could recieve some advice...


I recently bought an Jetta Mk3 1.9 AAZ with an Garret Turbo (not sure what model is, the Badge says T15, OE 028145703, don't know if it's a GT15..) but the car is running very slow.... in Idle the RPM are below 1k, I feel no boost, no spool from turbo... sad! Even the  Golf Mk3 AAZ + K03 from my dad gives more boost...

Whan can I do to tune this engine just to get some extra HP without having to replace any component? The car engine is in pretty good shape!!

i think you should start by installing a boost gauge and then see what kind of boost you actually have
