I have a 5 speed trans out of my old '86 Golf that I'd like to part with. 5th gear blew up one night, and because it was more cost effective, I replaced the transmission rather than the gear set. I removed 5th gear and drove it as a 4 speed for a month or so. I think the code is AGS. It doesn't owe me anything. Is $50 too much? I also have a 020 bell housing that is good for bolting up to motors to get a starter on there to test compression. It's just that chunk of aluminum. $25 for that.
