trying to find 1.9l n/a parts

Hey guys i am new to the forums. I just bought a money pit called a Vanagon 1982 with a 1.9l n/a and i am loving every second of it  I am having a hard time finding parts. I am currently looking for a head gasket and head bolts.  I am wondering if the head gasket and bolts from the 1.6l will work? and if not were can i find the parts i am after. Thanks

Try looking for engine code AAZ parts. 1994 Golf or Jetta should be about right if that helps your searching. The 1.6 head gasket bore size is too small for the 1.9 so that probably won't work for you.

ok thanks. yeah i wasnt sure if the aaz gaskets would work on the 1.9 n/a. and do you have any idea about the head bolts? maybe the aaz head bolts will work as well?

aaz, 1.6, or tdi headbolts will work
