Lime Green advance spring part # Lets find a replacement!
« on: July 13, 2016, 11:37:19 pm »
Does anyone have a lime green spring, or the part #, or anything close.

I thought I had one, but I cannot find it!!!!

Any ideas on where to point me to start looking for a replacement company?

Thanks.

 If you want more advance,   fuel pressure-  makes a huge difference
You gotta make a gauge that taps into the internal pressure of the pump,
 something like-
     43.5 Psi at 1000 RPM
    2000 Rpm -about 75.4 Psi

I read in a post somewhere that these old pumps may have softened springs already from use;
I had to put several of the spring shims back in after adjusting my 1.6na fuel pressure.   Static timing was good for starting,  but when I revved it  would rattle from too much advance.

 Playing with the shims can help.
 Isn't the green spring from a 1.5 pump? 107A?
 Check a bosch service center with a 1.5 part number.
