Have a OEM B-W off of a Mk4 Pumpe Deuce BEW Jetta wagon w/ 120k miles.
The turbo was perfect. Exceptionally clean, didn't leak or burn oil.
VNT actuator diaphragm is bad, doesn't hold vacuum. Decided not to convert to Garrett actuator and just updated to an entire new Garrett assembly.
Great for someone that wanted to convert it to a Garrett actuator, or for core parts, or that wanted to repair it, if they have a bad turbo and good actuator.
Can take pictures if necessary. Will ship well packaged in the box that I received the Garrett in.
