Would this restrict flow in fuel lines?

I bought some clear line fuel line for my Ecodiesel to use for the supply and return between fuel filter and injection pump. I still want to keep the rubber ends for ease of changing fuel filters, so I bought brass barbed fittings to join them. The inner diameter of the supply hose is 5/16 and the barbed fitting is 5/16, but the hole is a lot smaller like 1/8... would this restrict flow? Injection pump fuelling is definitely not at stock level either, I don't want to be starving the pump.

If your worried about flow you should use a compression fitting that goes outside

If you use those fittings that smaller diameter will cause you to increase your vacuum on the lines in order to get the same amount of fluid through the opening. Volume of fluid is dependent upon either pressure or vacuum and opening size. I think I would have gone for compression fittings and sleeves to put on the outside of the hoses. They are bulkier but that allows the interior of the hose to remain as is.
I am trying to envision the standard hose bib on the inlet or outlet. What diameter is that compared to what you are showing. That may be the best guide you have to run on. Seems the 5/16 line still gets a smaller hole than the hose itself going through the in bolt.
You have to calculate area of the opening and compare them. Can't just say this one is half of that.

Thanks for the replies, It never even crossed my mind to use compression fittings, I've even used them to install my boost gauge. I'll go check what my local hardware store has this weekend.
