A/C Parts rundown help

Hello, I am so grateful such an informative forum exist for my old car, so thank you. I have a 1985 Golf 1.6 Diesel and I have been piecing it back together little by little, I am going to tackle the A/C soon and need to figure out what all I am missing, does anyone know where I could find a parts diagram for the A/C system or could anyone help me identify what I will need? I have the compressor on the car and it spins freely and has a belt on it now, and the controls in the dash have heat and A/C settings, there is a large radiator looking thing in front of the actual radiator and a canister looking thing on the bottom right hand side of that,I need the lines and also need to know what else goes where, any info or point in the right direction would be great.
