good day , my question is that my 1.6 td in my 83 caddy started to blow black smoke out the exhaust at every take off and gear. not a lot but more until the turbo spools up , this happened before but went away after a week. I believe that the pin below the diaphragm my be stuck down causing over fueling. Is that possible and is it hard to repair . never had that top diaphragm apart and would like some incite before I open it up and a whole lot of parts fly out .
all the reg stuff is ok like air filter , turbo ect seem to be in order. just not sure on the that pump control.
