glow plug question
« on: November 29, 2015, 10:44:36 pm »
I am wondering if this will work for running the glow plugs on the TDI i am going to put into my truck this spring http://www.ebay.com/itm/Timer-Switch-Ti ... Sw9mFWG2Qd

also the TDI has a second set of 3 glow plugs that sit in the coolant to help heat it up faster, i am wondering what would be the best way to run them, i would like them to auto shut off and not just keep running.

I used a 50 amp relay and a re-purposed 5 minute wall switch timer. The timer controls both starting GP's and coolant GP's. Switches with + indicator lights for each. http://vwdiesel.net/forum/index.php/topic,34290.30.html
