Serpentine issues
« on: July 15, 2015, 09:49:14 pm »
So Ive had the AAZ non a/c serpentine setup on my 1.6 for about 6 years now and only now Im having a weird belt issue. The other day I was s driving along and I heard this horrible screeching noise. Turns out the belt was was rubbing on the top and bottom of the waterpump pulley :o  I noticed that the bolt holes where the alternator bolts to the bracket are a bit on the larger. Should I be looking to replace the serpentine bracket?

So my plan at the moment is to slap an A/C unit in,  have the serp belt on the Alt and A/C and run the waterpump off a Vbelt  using the quantum waterpump pulley and the stock AAZ V-belt crank pulley.

Does anyone have the part number for the AAZ V-belt crank pulley that drives the waterpump and Power steering?
