Hey everyone, after reading a while, thought I'd register.

Car is a 89 Mk2, that had 1.3 gasoline with 4 spd gearbox. Bought a JR engine swap with trans, which turned out to run more on engine oil than diesel, and luck threw an AFN block in front of me. So the car runs now with that and TD bits - pump, intake, turbo, etc.

Not much of a power monster but it gets me arround town, and the speed limit is 90 km/h 

will go probably 110 km/h but i have not tried yet, there are still things to finish with the swap.

I am also exploring my options of getting up to stock AFN power mechanicaly, so far the easiest seems a LR300 pump, of which im eyeing  few on the ebay.

They stock LR300 pump is actually tuned for more like 120 HP out of the box, so it'll exceed stock AFN power without doing anything. Just keep an eye, they pop up all the time.

What would i need to do to the LR pump, to be able to keep the stock JR turbo at least for a while? Turn down fueling, what else?

The swap has left my funds depleted, as the car has been partially resprayed and alot of things have been replaced to pass MOT.

Nothing. Maybe turn up the boost on the JR turbo, it should be a K24 or K14, either will happily do 15 PSI even without an intercooler.

Great. I have also a mk3 intercooler with incomplete piping laying around for the time i fit a proper intake manifold (JR mani atm, when i fitted it i had some doubt whether it would ensure proper seal but i guess it does).

Cut out middle resonator, what was once part the gasoline exhaust system, and replaced it with 50mm pipe, boost pressure rose to 6 psi and top speed to whopping 120 km/h, enough for a daily driver i guess.

I have found a LR Discovery pump in a yard not far away, they said its part nr is 0460414136, can anyone confirm if this is a compatible unit?

From what I can find yes, that should be a workable pump.  It appears it is the 'immobilizer' version which has a box around the fuel shutoff solenoid, I'm not sure what is required to get rid of that.

A quick search shows the immobilizer solenoid can be worked arround, so ill try to pick it up tomorrow.

No sprocket though, so what sprocket should i use? Post pic if possible.

Scoured the nearest breakers for a suitable IP pulley, from what ive seen this looks to be not far from what i need, but im not sure about the fitment. It was on a e-pump from a mk4, i think 1999, no code though as the pump is off the engine.

Is this what im looking for?

Yes, if the offset is the same, but if you get the pulley and the hub it should work fine. I think libbydiesel has commented on that elsewhere as I have no firsthand experience.

Yes, grab the Mk4 pulley and the hub. You'll need to bring a puller to get it off, plus a counter hold tool to undo the center nut. That's exactly the setup I'm using on mine.
