Hello Everyone,
My name is Justin and i am an engineering student located in Atlanta, GA.Im new to the mk1 scene and also the diesel scene although my current DD is a K04 MK6. I have always loved mk1 and around where i am from it is difficult to find a rabbit in good condition. But luckily for me i found one in what i consider great shape and a steal of a price only 2 hours away. She needs a little love and attention but with time she will become perfect. Im looking forward to learning alot from here.
The immediate things i need to address are:
new timing belt
front wheel bearings (they roar like a truck on 35's)
shifter linkage
cv axles
motor mounts
If anyone has some extra parts laying around that they dont want or need i'd gladly take them off your hands
being a college student my funds are a little limited lol.
Anyways here is what Rhonda the rabbit looks like after 8 hours of cleaning and respraying the wheels
