IDI Turbo identification.

  My friend has two sweet pickups. One has a 1.6TD from a MKI with a solid lifter head. The other is a 1980 with an AAZ. This truck needs a new intake hose from the air cleaner. Apparently they are discontinued. I have found a replacement on ebay from a site that makes new one for about $100. Nice looking pieces. They make them for several MKI application. I will post a link when I get a chance.

 How do I determine what type of turbo is on each vehicle. They should be original. I have been looking, but the link in the FAQ isn't working for me. I will try and take pictures of the turbo in each truck to assist on figuring this out.

There are tags on the stock ones. It will tell you what model they are. Look on the compressor of the turbo.
