Ive been looking at this forum since i bought my car and finally registered.  I purchased my mk2 Jetta about 2 years ago.  Was in an accident so salvage title but the price was right.  Fixed the damage and drove it non turbo for awhile.  Needless to say the work didn't stop at just adding a turbo.  Heres a quick list of whats been done so far. More work is planned.
-K24 Turbo
-TT 2.25 DP
-2.5" stainless exhaust-no muffler
-custom FMIC
-Cold air intake
-Manual Boost controller-20PSI
-Giles pump
-Snow Water/Methanol
-Gauges-isspro(boost/pyro)
-Bilstein HD struts w/ mk3 VR springs
-Eibach sway bars f/r
-energy suspension bushings in front
-TT short shifter
thats most of the major work I've done. Im sure theres a couple things i missed.

Blew the head gasket a few weeks ago so head is off engine right now. Doing a quick overhaul(in-frame) adding a couple things to hold boost.
-ARP head studs
-MLS head gasket
-looking into a turbo upgrade. maybe k24/26 hybrid

If you upgrade the turbo realize that the k24/26 hybrid is not an upgrade.

I was just reading that people are not happy with the 24/26.  I also have a t3 to mess with but not sure which compressor to put on it.  I am interested in doing a vnt but dont have time to build a controller for it right now.  So ill be sticking with the k24 until I find something better.  Thank you for the input.
