Hello, ive got a 1z Mtdi   (gtd/tdi pump mix) and was curious as to if a GTB1756VK is an ideal turbo? and how to plum in the vacuum lines if so?

I have one on mine....

You need something to control the turbo. Somewhere on here there is a mechanical VNT control setup that can be built. I made a little electronic controller for mine.

If you just want easy something like a GT2052 or GT2056 would be a better choice.

Or actually check out some of the Holset builds on here, those seem like an ideal solution.
