I backed up and saw this in my lane way. It came from my car.

Looks like a Mk1 shifter link... might have been left lying on the crossmember by a lazy mechanic.

Check that your car has all its links and can shift to all gears.

Ja, it would be by the tranny, if it were even the correct one. I doubt you have a MK1 tranny, but you might.

It's likely somebody just left it there when trying to replace parts.

Yeah you'd either have a 2-speed 3/4 or a no-speed if that was actually from your car....
