I'm looking for a 1.6 or 1.9 IDI TD. I need:
Block, head, intake and exhaust, injector pump and turbo.
Alternatively, as much of the above as I can get my grubby hands on. I have a project that I'm itching to get started on. By rebuildable, I mean within the limits of a machine shop, so no cracked or warped heads or blocks, no blocks with pistons protruding through, etc. I don't care if the rings are shot and it won't even run anymore the compression is so bad. I intend to rebuild it myself. Of course, a running engine would be just fine by me.
I am willing to drive as far South as the California/Oregon border, as far North as Vancouver and surrounding areas and as far East as Idaho. Let me know what you have and we can start discussing price and terms. This is a long-term project so I'm not in a massive rush.
Unfortunately I can't afford a full engine from Jack, what with the core charges and everything.
