1.9 manifold on 1.6td

I have a 1.9 tdi manifold on my 1.6 td . I have put 60,000 on engine and has ran great. I know the tdi intake has D shaped ports and the 1.6 has O shaped ports, I run 15 to 17 psi boost and have not had any issues but was courious if it's possible to port match the tdi manifold to the 1.6 head or am I better off to find a intake that would better suit my application... This is a hobby car. And my goal eventually is to get to the 130 to 160 hp range.... Getting ready to send pump to giles for more performance mod... Looking to switch to the k14 and since
I'll have everything off just want it to be right...

No, the manifolds are too dissimilar. Get a 1.6 manifold and port match it. Do not go to a K14.

Ok nice! I wonder
How much of a gain I will see getting rid of 1.9 manifold... Built this engine without the knowledge I have from this place... Guess u have to learn the hard way sometimes... I have seen some
Of the manifolds that people here have made, really nice I don't really know to many people here where I live that have the tools nessisary to machine and weld up something, and getting the flow chararisistics right ... Guess I need to start looking ..parts place has a stock manifold tha should hold me over until I can build one .. $$$$
