AAZ intake manifold
« on: December 21, 2014, 01:24:27 pm »
Hi. I need an intake manifold for an AAZ/Vanagon project. I have a 1.6 manifold but the holes are the wrong shape.

Ebay has a couple of 1z/AHU intake manifolds....are they likely to fit?

Thanks

If you find one that matches the AAZ ports, you can make the rest of it work as needed.

I have a probe in the end to measure IAT's and the design let me have very short charge piping.

Not a tig expert but a grinder works wonders  ;)
I as worried that the casting would warp but it stayed nice and flat through the process.

VERY nice setup Gizmoman! I'm starting to research the AAZ intake manifolds myself.

Any newer gas intake that has ports like this, will fit.
