Hey guys. I picked up an AAZ on the weekend with the intent to rebuild the bottom end and drop my new oem head onto. I'm curious what people would value the used head at, assuming it has no visible damage? It also came with a K03 turbo that is cooked. Previous owner said the car felt like it blew up and was making tuns of smoke, however it was still running and he was able to get home on it. The turbo has quite a bit of play in it maybe 1/4", I'm assume the turbo just went and the engine is still (hopefully) in relatively good condition (no way to tell until I get into it obviously). Does a K03 have any value as a core for a rebuild?

Also curious around what rpm a garret t3 would make boost on an aaz?

I recently sold a 1.5na head with lightly scarred journals, no cracks, and in need of a 2 thou shave for $100 shipped.

K03 core housings can be baked clean and accept a new CHRA so it's not worthless, question is finding someone who wants one
