Filter head banjo size on Mk1?
« on: August 12, 2014, 03:46:51 pm »
One of the banjo barbs off my filter head evaporated today.

I discovered that i don't have the right clamps to attach my 1/4 tygon line to the barbs, cleaned one up, stuck a bit of hose on it, put it in my pocket, washed my hands, and drove to the auto parts store.

Where i found my pocket empty.

Searched for it for an hour and a half.

so, is M14 a safe bet for these? seems to be a common metric banjo size.

$13 for a new filter flange banjo, with the banjo at the pump and the line included...

Well, it came up because i have to relocate the filter. And I'm going to be using the transparent tygon fuel & lubricant hose. So i just need the banjo, no bolt, no hose, etc.
