Injection pump doesn't spray fuel

I bought this pump from 8v-of-fury!, and got absolutely screwed. I knew ahead of the purchase he was moving, and so it would be hard to get ahold of him. Now, he can't give me my money back because he doesn't have enough to pay me back. The problem is this pump will not spray fuel. If I loosen up the delivery valves in the head it will, otherwise it just doesn't seem to build pressure. Is there anybody out there that can help me out on this? I'm a college student that was without a car for a couple months, and I can't afford to take a $400 loss.

Are you looking for us to contribute with a small cash donation or fix the pump to make it work? What is it you would have us do here to help? Remind the reader here, what type of IP is it exactly. Keeps us from chasing a thread down.
Installment plan for 8V might be an option.

That would be nice. The pump is a 1.6 turbo pump, with governor mod.

I know you bought this to stop a problem of leaking if I remember right. Then you fixed your old pump to get you running again. Do you have the ability to tear into the pump and see if something is whacko with it? Or would you not even know how to tear into a pump and get it back to running condition.

I probably could, but I don't want to risk it, I have never opened one before. What I sealed on my old pump was simple, I just put a new o ring on the cold start lever.

Oh, that is kid stuff then. I thought you did the front seal or the back one with the slip trick. In that case leave as is, might be an issue with an exchange if that is possible.

Well I thought I fixed the leak, it is once again leaking from the cold start lever

From the lever or from the cap? Big O or little O rings needed

I did both the o ring on the shaft, and the cap. Brand new from a reseal kit.
