  a friend of mine is traveling thru NM in his rabbit truck and needs help. The clamp that holds the rear pivot point on the control arm broke. The part number is 171407169. it's item #2 in this image:

• If it were me, i would be looking at 'universal' sway bar brackets at the nearest auto parts store. Chances are something is very, very close.

• First I heard of one of those breaking. Things could go wrong real fast.

  I searched and found new from a seller from 2009 on vortex
  75.00 shipped, new in the bag..
