The price is all about what pistons/rods/cam/turbo/intake/pump/head work

Then you have to build a trans to handle the HP

The caddy was the cheap part for me

I purchased a ahu and trans for 1400.00 from one of my dealers, sold the wiring harness and ecu
now somebody wants the turbo and pump

watch the samba for deals on engines in running condition

My best goal would be a plug and play motor with and injection pump, lines, injectors ,t-belt already installed (no need any other acc)and needs to be reliable while reaching high bhp.
But i am open to offers.
Budget is all depends on the work will be done. So i need to know what you can do and references Please.
Means i have the money but will spend it for the right job.
Why i am doing this : because my time is very limited and i have to get my vehicle ready before i install the engine and i have no experience to build reliable high powered tdi engine other then that basic rebuild won't be an issue . I just don't wanna spend my time on something i haven't had any experience yet(i have no luxury to do guess work) Also my transmission will be build to reach my expectations.
Thanks.

I have an aaz engine that I am converting to an AHU with the 1st oversize pistons. The build would be coated pistons, ported cylinder head, new valvetrain, new bearings and gaskets, head studs, main studs, balanced rotating assembly, and possibly more if you needed it. What turbo would you use? What goals would you have? Etc. I have built many engines and a few diesels. The build thread part 2 is the latest and best diesel I have built.
I would want at least 1/2 up front and a contract that I am not liable for your stupidity.

Just dont buy a high mileage engine from German Motors in Ontario calif

He pays about 200-300 per engine from europe and sells for a crazy markup, you dont know whats inside

I did a AAZ from him, pulled the head...

I rebuilt the pump/turbo, new head etc.

Easier to start with new assy or have a core built up to your spec

VWtransaxle did my last build o20 custom, fair price
I did powdercoat the trans housing and supply the arp hardware

You can not convert an AAZ to TDI, only mTDI. There is no boss in the block for the crank sensor pickup.

I assumed that you wanted m TDI otherwise why wouldn't you go alh?
An aaz can be easily converted to a TDI like the ahu with the proper parts. Just not the e TDI easily, a piece could be made for the crank sensor.

Are you going E TDI, yes or no?

If not then you can go M TDI with an AAZ block and the TDI rotating assembly
