Justin at greaseworks got one that was done and its first time he had seen this process or quality

interesting approach. I don't doubt that it works, to a point.
"polishing" though turns out to be a dead end in performance. dimpling, like a golf ball, it turns out, increases the velocity of fluid transfer (air is a fluid) by creating small tight pockets of high compression which have a 'surface' far smoother than any solid material.
this has even been applied to aircraft fuselage paint, which now has an irregularly mottled surface. They tried giving it a regular surface, but it tuns out that the irregular surfaces perform better over-all by discouraging the formation of resonances and standing waves.
still, this must beat the heck out of sitting at a work bench with a burr.

Generalizations like hat can land you in a lot of trouble. fluid dynamics is a complicated thing.
Finish is adjustable by varying grit size.

I bolted an extrude hone head and intake manifold on a Lysholmed g60 of a friend and saw 30+whp increase and no drop in psi. I would love to send a TDI head and manifold to them.

A few years ago, I sent a set of ALH auto nozzles to them for larger holes. I think they were enlarged to .216. They worked great and the cost was about $100 and a sheet was included showing the calibration of the flow.
