I need a newer Vehicle for Work so up for sale is my 1992 B3 Passat wagon. Body Has 215,xxx miles on it white with peeling clear coat and a few dings here and there is no rot but a small spot of light surface rust on one of the fenders and a few browned dings. I converted the car last year with a 1996 1z TDi motor present time it has about 264,xxx miles on it. Overall a great car I drive it everyday frequently 100 mile 1 way trips and just drove it to Arizona in October and Maine in December and it performed great the whole time. This thing can haul a lot of stuff and can sleep two comfortably in the back. All the windows work and nothing leaks including the sun roof. The interior is black a rare option and clean with no off smells from smoking or animals. Window tint is peeling. Pictures today.
Boost, EGT, Oil water/temp switched, and oil psi guages in an A pillar pod.
Pd150 intake w/ race pipe.
Rebuilt k14 turbo at time of conversion set to 18psi.
New oil feed and drainlines
VEG .216 injector nozzles in Rebuilt bodies with higher breaking pressures.
12mm cummins 4bt pump built by a professional to run a TDi properly without the ecu. same mileage as the turbo. This was a brand new pump not rebuilt.
2.5'' FMIC from ebay.
MK4 shifter setup w/ TT short shifter and 42 draft design bushings.
Tdi CTN transmision
VR6 pressure plate with TDi disc installed new at time of swap.
Conti timing belt ina rollers and tensioner done at conversion.
Cruise does not work but I will be looking into it soon. (I think its a worn column switch)
B3 AAZ cluster gas and temp guage don't ussually work but it can be resoldered. Tach and MPH speedo work great.
Rabbit spin on filter.
Ac hooked up but needs troublshooting.
Windshield has a horizontal crack midway up passenger a-pillar terminating slightly past the middle but doe not impede drivers view. The rearview mirror also needs attached it fell off when it was really cold.
Bilstein HD struts up front new bushings/bearings.
Facet posi flow lift pump.
Rear shocks probably need replaced and the springs are little tired I have a good set of used sach shocks just have not had the chance to put them in.
R32 front control arm bushings.
Manual glowplug system.
1 year old 1000Cranking Amp battery.
Custom 2.5" straight exhaust dowpipe back the downpipe is 2.25". *when the back is fully loaded with weight the exhaust rubs the axle beam makes noise* It just needs to be cut and rewelded in a different angle so it wont rub.*
Needs a drivers door handle have one on the way
Clear coat is peeling on the roof hood and tailgate.
16" Aluette wheels The tires are snow/ winter tires have 80% tread and no abnormal wear. one of the wheels has a small dent/ flat spot in it from a pothole/curb but it is not noticeable when driven and the cars handles really well.
5,500 obo I have over 7k in it but Didn't save any receipts really so no proof but my word.
All work was done by CRSMP5 and I at his shop.
I need to move this vehicle so make me an offer. I work for American Airlines and would be happy to drive this car too you.
