Occasionally I poke around on google.de (germany google), and look at VW stuff. Just came across this old news story. -

A 20 Jahre GTI TDI was going 100+MPH on a 2 lane road and had a crash.

AFN uninstalled itself and was found 40 meters further along.

3 Funerals. A grimm reality check can be beneficial every now and then. These cars don't crash so well under those conditions.
