UVIEW Combustion Gas Leak Tester

Has anyone used this tester to see if there are any leaks into the coolant system?

It's suppose to detect hydrocarbons, so I guess it will detect oil or combustion gasses entering the coolant from a warped head or bad gasket.

Seems like a cheap check before tearing into the engine.
