Excellent, good it was something simple. However, I would still remove the bottom flywheel cover plate at the bellhousing and check to see if any significant amount of clutch friction material was lost. Just a precaution, no need to be alarmed.

If I gun it hard, it still slipped.I have been driving it gingerly so as not to burn it out and and a useless vehicle. Now it's 8 months later and the same clutch is back to 100% normal. I can gun it hard now and it does not slip. I only do that when I need to (like when I'm pissed at people tailgating me lol).What was the problem when it was slipping? I love it when my Jetta fix itself but would like an explanation. What do you think?
