I'm new here, but not to vw's. My current project is an 86 samurai with an ahu mtdi swap. My current daily is a 99 passat gasser, which keeps breaking down on me. Around 6 months ago this Eco was for sale on tdi club. I planned on buying it, but it sold before I could fly out to get it. Fast forward til now, I was randomly browsing craigslist when I found it, not running. Owner said its a bad fuel pump, saying it leaks bad. I bought it anyways. My theory is it just needs a full pump resealing. I need to go pick it up, as it is still in Colorado. Can't wait to daily this thing!!
